“Practicing Poverty” is the New BlackThis is where practicing poverty can come into play. Practicing poverty is a term that refers to the act of living as if one were poor in order to understand what it would be like and how it would feel if they were poor themselves. The idea behind practicing poverty is that by understanding what it’s like, you can learn more about how people live in poverty and hopefully work towards alleviating their hardships.
