What Practicing Poverty Is Not
What Practicing Poverty Is Not
Not a One-Size-Fits-All Approach
Practicing poverty isn’t about following a rigid blueprint or copying someone else’s experience. What feels minimalist and intentional for one person might feel restrictive for another. This practice should align with your goals, values, and circumstances. For some, it might mean downsizing their living space; for others, it could be about cutting discretionary spending. There’s no universal standard for “practicing poverty,” and it’s not a competition to see who can live with the least. It’s a personal journey that’s unique to each individual.
