Why Developing Habits, Rituals, and Systems is Essential for Senior Citizens As we age, our habits, rituals and systems become even more important in order to stay healthy and independent. Senior citizens need to take extra care of themselves and establish a routine that will help them maintain their physical and mental health. Habits, rituals and systems can be used as an effective tool to manage the daily activities of senior citizens such as exercise, diet, medication management, socializing etc. Habits are the small decisions that we make every day which can have a big impact on our health and wellbeing.
